terms of service
commissions:
when commissioning me, you agree to these terms, and i will reiterate them if needed. this is not to accuse or reprimand; it is to keep expectations clear!» i begin commissions only after receiving full payment. i am only able to accept paypal, and all prices are in USD.» i reserve the right to request a complexity fee to an order; you will be informed of this added fee before you are asked to provide payment.
things like wheelchairs or common prosthetics will not cause a complexity fee» if 2 weeks pass and i haven't updated you, i will be certain to reach out.» i don't touch the money until your piece is finished. this means if you need a refund, it will be available.» refunds are available at varying stages. life happens, and art is not a necessity. chances are i will understand and will be ready to discuss it with you, so absolutely ask about refunds, no matter your reason!

> lining process begun = 50% refund
> close to finished = 25% refund» i reserve the right to deny commissions that i would not feel comfortable creating, contain sensitive content, or i do not feel equipped to depict.
> examples: highly complex designs, discomfort with a character's themes, or body horror/gore based characters
> marginalized groups such as lgbt+, muslim, jewish, disabled, etc characters are not inherently considered sensitive material.» my art is not to be redistributed for profit unless expressly stated when commissioning me (tshirts, prints, etc. that would be sold; i will NEVER allow my art as NFTs)» do not alter my finished pieces unless you are adding transparency, or coloring lines / greyscale pieces. i am entirely open to making edits to the pieces you have paid for.» if i've made linework / a greyscale piece for you, you're free to color it - just make sure to credit me still! i do not allow tracing.

character and designs:
» if a design i have made is part of a closed species, their TOS comes first. this does include; if they allow reselling designs that have been obtained by trade or indirect purchase; if they don't allow resale for any reason; if they do not allow acquired art to add value to the resale.» do not sell my designs if you did not buy it, regardless of any original monetary value. (i.e., user A bought it for $10 and traded, not sold, it to user B. user B cannot resell.) re-vouchering for similar value is allowed. if there is extra art that was purchased by you, you may resell for that value if the artists allow.» you do not need to notify me of ownership changes!» feel free to make edits to the design, but do not edit my art. please keep key elements of the design so as to be recognizably related to the original.» you can turn my designs into a species design, as long as you provide your own original art for it.» gijinkas / humanized versions of non-human designs are fine!» do not lighten a character's natural skintone; slight tone or hue alterations are fine. with unnatural skintones, it's up to your discretion what you do with it.» do not remove any disabilities; you can stylize without removing these aspects. shifting how it presents is up to your discretion.
